Clinical Interests

I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents (ages 2–18) for a wide range of presenting questions. I have extensive training and specific expertise and interest in early childhood, autism, and neurodevelopmental differences. I also provide evaluations for youth with emotional, behavioral, attention, or learning concerns. I enjoy getting to know each family and strive to provide a thorough, individualized assessment and feedback experience, highlighting your child's strengths and recommendations to best support your child going forward—while also ensuring your child has some fun throughout the process!

My Approach to Care

While I specialize in psychological evaluations, I am also well-versed in behavioral therapy and parent coaching, family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and group therapy. I am also fluent in Spanish.

Areas of Specialization

I enjoy working with youth of all ages and their caregivers. Getting to know your child and family is the highlight of my job!

My Decolonized/Anti-Oppressive Lens

I recognize the limitations of Western psychology, particularly as it relates to psychological testing (e.g., most diagnostic criteria and psychological tests were normed on western/white/cis/hetero client populations), and I am mindful of these limitations and how they may impact test results. I practice from a culturally-responsive, gender-affirming, neurodiverse-affirming, strengths-based, person-centered framework.

What I hope Clients Feel After Working With Me

I strive to provide a warm, positive, personalized, and helpful evaluation experience for each child and their family. My goal at the end of the evaluation is to provide you with a roadmap for how to best support your child going forward and know that I am always a resource and part of your team.

Why I Chose This Work

I have always enjoyed helping others and working with youth, and knew I wanted to be a psychologist from a young age. I feel lucky to love my job!

What I Enjoy Outside of Work

When I’m not at work, I enjoy watching the WNBA (go Lynx!), playing pickleball, being outdoors, finding the best bakeries in MN, traveling, and spending time with my family and two cats (Dr. Kitty and Coco).

My Favorite Quote

The song "Noches de Boda" by Joaquín Sabina, which is about embracing life fully with joy, love, celebration, and passion.
